Rogues pummel Jackals; end losing skid

St. John’s, NL: The Newfoundland Rogues avenged Saturday’s loss against the Jamestown Jackals winning 137-111. The Rogues improve to an overall record of 10-8 after Sunday afternoon’s win.

After a back-and-forth first half of action, the Rogues took control of the game in the third quarter. The home side kept their momentum rolling into the fourth quarter running up the score on a talented Jackals team. The Rogues were led by top performances from Jakorie Smith (F), Kevin Bridgewaters (G), and Dedric Boyd (G). With the victory, the Rogues snap a four game losing skid and tie their season series versus the Jackals 1-1.

The Rogues embark on their second road trip of the season this week. Starting on Valentine’s Day, the team will play five games in nine days before returning to the Mary Brown’s Centre on February 27th.
