Rogues slay Kingz in home blowout

St. John’s, NL: The Newfoundland Rogues picked up another blowout victory over the Rochester Kingz on Friday night 136-83. This was the second win for the Rogues in as many nights remaining unbeaten in their last three home games.

In a game which followed a similar pattern to Thursday’s action, the Rogues started strong and did not let up over four dominating quarters. Although The Kingz saw improved performances from key players Jevonny Brown (G, 24pts) and Fidel Norris (G, 29pts), it wasn’t enough to match the Rogues offensive onslaught with seven Rogues players scoring double digit points or more. David Jasson (G) once again led the Rogues in points with 20.

The Rogues play a third game in three days as they close out their series against the Kingz tomorrow night at the Mary Brown’s Centre. Tip-Off at 7:00PM.
