St. John’s, NL: The Newfoundland Rogues continued their winning ways on Friday defeating the Glass City Wranglers 128-93.
The Rogues started their latest home stand exactly how they ended their first road trip; with a win over the Wranglers. Dedric Boyd shot a perfect 9-9 from the field and led the Rogues in points with 26 while Rashad Smith picked up his first double-double of the season (12 points, 14 rebounds). Friday’s game also saw the Rogues debut of the province’s own Steven Earles. He collected 5 points over the course of the game.
The Rogues return to the Mary Brown’s Centre court on Saturday night to do battle with the Wranglers once again. Tip-off at 7:00PM.
