After Valentine’s Storm, Rogues Return to MBC to Host Sudbury, Salem
For Immediate Release
ST. JOHN’S, NL – With clean-up from the Valentine’s Day storm in full swing, basketball is back at Mary Brown’s Centre. Unable to travel on Tuesday or Wednesday, the Sudbury Five of the NBL-C arrive today and hit the court tonight for the rescheduled first game of a 3-game series against the hometown Newfoundland Rogues.
The Rogues return to the Rock after a hard-fought but winless 3-game swing through Ontario at Windsor, London and finishing with a close contest against Sudbury.
The Rogues were led again by Armani Chaney, who exploded for 29, 37 and 38 points respectively.
Sudbury is being led by Jaylen Bland, averaging almost 25 points per game.
Tip-off tonight is 7:30 pm, rather than the usual 7:00 pm. The remaining games will be played Friday and Saturday at 7:00 pm.
For those unable to make it to MBC, the games can be watched online through the TBL’s game streaming service at tbltv.tv.
