Canadian Myles Charvis is the Newest Newfoundland Rogue

The Newfoundland Rogues are pleased to announce the signing of point guard Myles Charvis. The 27 year old Mississauga, Ontario native has deep roots in Canadian basketball having had a collegiate career at Ryerson University and the University of Waterloo, as well as playing for the Guelph Nighthawks of the CEBL and the Kitchener Waterloo Titans of the NBL-C.

Rogues head coach Jerry Williams was a big supporter of the signing.

“I’m very excited to have Canadian talent with professional experience, I feel Myles will do really well with the other talented guys we have coming in.”

Assistant Coach Stacey Leawood knew Myles from his time in the CEBL,

“Myles is an intense competitor, a great leader and has been a fan favourite throughout his pro career thus far. He made his mark in the CEBL and NBL-C for the past three years and I know he will positively impact this organization on and off the court.”
