Rogues Crush Soul Behind Chaney’s 42

ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland Rogues started strong and never looked back, muscling their way to a 117-111 win over the Georgia Soul in the TBL’s best-of-three Southeast Division championship.
Armani Chaney led the way for the Rogues, piling up 42 points – including 6 of 9 from 3-point land – to go along with 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Marquise Collins also put together a dominant game in the post, scoring 30 points on 12 of 18 shooting, along with 12 rebounds.
The Soul were led by Patrell Rogers with 31 points.
Game 2 of the series goes Saturday night in Augusta, Georgia.
