Rogues return to form versus Hoopers

St. John’s, NL – The Newfoundland Rogues beat the Halifax Hoopers on Thursday night 110-103 at the Mary Brown’s Centre. This win sees the second-placed Rogues improve to 13-10 on the season while the third-placed Hoopers drop to 7-11.

The Rogues got out to a blazing-hot start winning the first quarter 25-11. The Hoopers battled hard, fighting back to as little as a 4 point deficit before eventually succumbing to Coach Doug Partridge’s home side. The Rogues were led in scoring by All-Star Guard Dedric Boyd’s 30 points while local star Noel Moffatt contributed a record seven steals to go with 13 points and 10 rebounds.  

These two teams go at it again once again tomorrow night at the Mary Brown’s Centre. Tip-Off at 7PM.
