Rogues road woes continue, fall to Lightning

London, ONT: The Newfoundland Rogues lost 104-97 against the London Lightning on Monday. This was the first of a four-game road trip for the Rogues as they fall to 2-9 on the road this season.

Armani Chaney and Omega Harris finished tied for the Rogues scoring lead with 25 points a piece. The Lightning were led by familiar foe Billy White finishing the contest with a game high 28 points. Even more impressive for the home side was the play of Chris Jones. Playing with a broken nose, Jones’ 24 points and 6 assists helped lead the Lightning to a narrow victory.The Rogues have two days to decompress before they head down to the border to play the Windsor Express.
