Omega Harris Newfoundland Rogues NFLD Rogues Basketball

London, Ont: The Newfoundland Rogues returned to the road with a loss against the London Lightning. This was the first matchup of the year between the top two teams in the Basketball Super League as the previously planned series in Newfoundland was cancelled due to weather. The Lightning won by a final score of 118-94.

Jermaine Haley led the way for the London Lightning with 30 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Armani Chaney and Marquis Collins both finished above the 20-point marker with 29 points and 21 points respectively for the travelling Rogues.

The Rogues have little time to prepare for their next game as they’ll take a two-hour drive towards the border to play the Windsor Express on March  2nd, 7:00 EST (8:30 NL).
