Rogues Stop Soul, Move on to Conference Finals

AUGUSTA, GEORGIA – Despite some nervous moments in the final minute, the Newfoundland Rogues held on for a 109-104 win over the Georgia Soul. The win means the Rogues will move on to face the Albany Patroons in the TBL’s best-of-three Conference final.
Armani Chaney once again led the way for the Rogues, finishing with 30 points to go along with 8 assists and 7 rebounds. Marquise Collins again proved to be the perfect post compliment scoring 25 points. Tonzell Handy chipped in with 11 points and 18 rebounds.
The Soul were led by Deon Berrien with 27 points.
The Albany Patroons beat the Atlantic City Gambits to take the Northeast Division and earn the right to face the Southeast champion Rogues. That series kicks off on Thursday, June 8th, locations to be announced.
