Rogues Storm Patroons, Win Rematch

St. John’s, NL: The Newfoundland Rogues once again vanquished the Albany Patroons at the Mary Brown’s Center on Friday. This time, the final score was 120-106.

Both teams gave a balanced effort in this contest. The Rogues had seven players score in double figures, while the Patroons saw six players hit that mark. Only the Patroon’s Josh Williams was able to eclipse the 20 point threshold – he had 22. Otherwise, the Patroons were paced by Ed Dyson III (19) and Sidney Brown (15).

The Rogues’ leading scorer was Marquise Collins with 18. Otherwise, Armani Chaney, Omega Harris and  Antonio Davis each had 16. This was a competitive contest until the Rogues went on a furious third quarter run.

They’ll see if they can do it again on Saturday night as these two teams square off at the Mary Brown’s Centre again.
