Rogues take tough loss against Five

St. John’s, NL: The Newfoundland Rogues lost 137-133 vs the Sudbury Five at the Mary Brown’s Centre on Saturday. This is the Rogues fourth home loss of 2024 as the squad continues to march towards the postseason.

In a high scoring and energetic game, the Five were led by (G) AJ Mosby Jr and (F) JD Miller who poured 31 points and 29 points respectively. Rogues superstar Armani Chaney led all scorers with 35 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds in a losing effort.

With the loss, the Rogues drop to 4th in the BSL standings as the Five jump into 3rd. The Rogues will once again host the Five on Sunday afternoon with massive playoff implications on the line.
