Rogues third season comes to a close

St. John’s, NL: It was a heartbreaking evening of basketball for the Newfoundland Rogues. Their inaugural BSL season finished with a loss to the KW Titans on Friday by a score of 128-115.

Don’t blame Armani Chaney. The Rogue’s MVP candidate left it all on the floor. He finished with an astonishing 52 points.

Otherwise, it was a team effort for the Titans. Curtis Hollis had 40 points and 9 rebounds, and the team got a lot of strong performances. A 57-36 rebounding advantage didn’t hurt the Titans.

It was a tremendous first season for the Rogues in the BSL. Now, their fans will have to wait until next year to make their way to the Mary Brown’s Centre. Go Rogues!
